Rome 2017 (Italy)

– Children of the Sea – Part of the Journeys project, coordinated by ArtReach, co-financed by the Creative Europe programme of the European Union.

Refugees play a key role, having opposed a proactive vision of the future to the tragic experience of fleeing their home. A refugee is a person who gets into touch with a new world and brings her/his experience, helping improvement, on both human and cultural aspects, towards a universal language.

Sibomana, has made for Explora Museum Children of the sea, an exhibition on migration dedicated to children. The exhibition focuses on the faces of ten children who are accommodated in a centre for asylum seekers on the outskirts of Rome.

Sibomana’s intention is clear: educating people to integration, reminding that all children have a right to be happy.
