Aria | Rome, Italy 2020

Curated by Nufactory, part of Art Stop Monti – Cavour metro Station, Rome, Italy 2020. A project promoted by Atac Roma, produced by Nufactory and part of Romarama 2020, promoted by Roma Capitale in collaboration with SIAE. “Aria” is a reflection on the present. It talks about the freedom of movement, the freedom to move and/or travel, without limits, without bans and without borders. For a lot people moving between countries remains extremely demanding due to the foreign policies that restrict their freedom of movement based on their nationalities. And as in the last pandemic, we all understood how our freedom of movement is essential to our life as it was taken away from us. Now I hope, in this new light of understanding we can all fight for this basic freedom right for everyone else in the world. The drawings represents a woman with a serene face, dreaming about her liberty that is represented by a group of birds flying around her head.
